Milan boosted its playoffs hopes by overcoming Baskonia 109-89 thanks to a dominant second half performance. The first half was played at a furious pace with both offenses scoring at will, and there were no less than 16 lead changes before Milan took a 57-56 advantage into the locker rooms. But the hosts continued to shoot superbly from long-range and embarked upon several runs in the third quarter to establish a double-digit lead, and that only grew in the final period as Milan cruised home.
Devin Booker led the way with 21 points, Zach LeDay added 19 and Marko Guduric guided the offense with 10 points and 6 assists. Shavon Shields scored 17 points, Armoni Brooks netted 14 and Diego Flaccadori had 10 for a Milan team which made 14 of its 24 three-point attempts. Markus Howard led the resistance for Baskonia with 21 points, while Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot added 19 and Kobi Simmons scored 14. Milan improves to 13-13 while Baskonia drops to 9-17 with just one road win all season.
