Hapoel ended a five-game slide by defeating Milan 92-86 at Menora Mivtachim Arena. An 11-2 run in the first quarter allowed the hosts to secure a 29-18 lead after 10 minutes, but Milan responded with a 0-10 surge in the second, trimming the deficit to 49-47 at halftime. Dimitris Itoudis’s team tightened up its defense in the second half, held Milan to 17 points in the third quarter and managed to secure a morale-boosting victory.
Hapoel improved its record to 17-11, while Milan’s playoff hunt took a blow as the Italian side dropped to 14-15. Elijah Bryant netted a game-high 25 points and Dan Oturu scored 16, while Vasilije Micic paired his 18 points with 9 rebounds. Zach LeDay paced Milan with 22 points and Josh Nebo bagged a season-high 18 in a losing effort.
