Josiah Davis led the way with a standout all-around game, finishing with 22 points and 10 assists. The Matadors also got strong contributions from Davius Loury, who caught fire from beyond the arc, and Larry Hughes Jr., who added key scoring efficiency.
Sacramento State fought hard behind a big night from Prophet Johnson, who recorded a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Mikey Williams and Jahni Summers provided additional scoring and playmaking.
