Dončić Makes Lakers History with 37-PT TRIPLE-DOUBLE In DC | January 30, 2026

Luka Dončić dominated from the opening tip, powering the Lakers past the Wizards with a historic night in Los Angeles. Dončić finished with 37 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists while knocking down six threes, becoming just the second player in Lakers history to record a 35+ point triple-double with five or more made threes.

Dončić also posted one of the rarest first-half performances of the play-by-play era, recording his second career 25-point first-half triple-double — the only player to do so more than once — and joining Nikola Jokić and Russell Westbrook as the only players with multiple first-half triple-doubles in the pxp era.

The Lakers rolled to a 142-111 win, improving to 29-18 on the season.
