Ram Nation opened the game on a 13-2 run in front of a raucous home crowd and went on to defeat pesky Tampa 20/20, 86-72. Brandon Rozzell led the way with 21 points for the VCU alumni squad, which is attempting to advance to a third straight Super 16. Rozzell connected on six of his 12 three-point attempts in the win for Ram Nation, which never trailed. Kristian Clarkson paced the Tampa 20/20 scoring attack with 14 points.
