For the second straight year, Ram Nation heads to the South Region Championship Game.
Brandon Rozzell and Reggie Williams scored 16 points apiece to lead Ram Nation to a 78-65 victory over Team DRC. Ram Nation overcame an early eight-point deficit and closed the third quarter on a 15-4 run to break open a close game.
“We’re a team of runs,“ said Ram Nation coach Justin Levine. “We wear teams out.”
Rozzell and Williams combined to go make all 10 of their free-throw attempts for Ram Nation, which made 18 of 19 from the charity stripe.
Despite his excitement over advancing to the quarterfinals, Rozzell wasn’t ready to move on from the Super 16 victory, a game that featured eight ties and nine lead changes.
“We’re a family, and we’re going to enjoy this together,” said Rozzell.
