Ram Nation was trailing Showtime by 11 points in the first half.

Jamie Skeen from Ram Nation led the way with 25 points. Reggie Williams followed with 19 points and 4 three-point baskets.

Lee Skinner from Showtime scored a total of 20 points, making all 7 of his free throw attempts. Mardracus Wade and Milton Jennings added 13 and 12 points, respectively.

TBT features 64 teams of top professional, college alumni, and international basketball players competing in a single-elimination 5-on-5 tournament for a winner-take-all $2 Million prize. All 63 games will air on ESPN networks beginning Saturday, July 8, culminating with the championship game on Thursday, August 3 live at 7:00 pm ET on ESPN. Regional competitions will be hosted in Charlotte (July 8-9), Philadelphia (July 8-9), Las Vegas (July 15-16) and Peoria (July 15-16), with the semifinals and championship game in Baltimore (August 1-3).

The highly-competitive tournament has attracted some of the best basketball players in the world. In 2016, 63 recent NBA players competed, and 20 teams were composed of alumni from Division I programs including Villanova, Gonzaga, Kentucky, Syracuse, Michigan State, and Memphis. Overseas Elite, a team put together by a CAA agent consisting of his clients, won for the second year in a row. Entry into TBT is free, with an application period that runs from April 1, 2017 through June 1, 2017. Teams compete for spots in the tournament by soliciting votes from fans and supporters via social media. Applicants must be 18 or older and willing to forego their amateur status.
